Christopher Nolan’s ‘Dunkirk’ Trailer Released After Online Leak
Filmmaker Christopher Nolan is in an enviable position. Warner Bros. quickly removed a few of the leaked footage from YouTube.
Warner Bros. released the trailer on YouTube, following a pirated clip of almost half of the teaser that surfaced online, which appeared to be taken on a mobile device from inside a movie theater.
It’ll be nice to have Nolan “back”, as he has spent the past decade making the Dark Knight trilogy, as well as heady sci-fi movies like Inception and Interstellar.

Dunkirk drops into theaters on Jul. 21, 2017. Recent Oscar victor Mark Rylance (Bridge of Spies), Kenneth Branagh (Valkyrie), Cillian Murphy (Inception), James D’Arcy (Cloud Atlas) and Tom Hardy (The Revenant) will be the more experienced members of what is said will be a largely young/unknown ensemble cast. The World War II action-thriller is based on an original screenplay by Nolan that chronicles the evacuation of Dunkirk during the British military operation that saved 330,000 lives as Allied soldiers were surrounded by German forces.
