Reggie Bush traveling to visit Buffalo Bills

Bush has totaled 5,493 rushing yards and 3,508 receiving yards in 10 National Football League seasons. “Now, I’m in shape, in full-strength and ready to go so I should have no limitations on the football field”.

“It’s going to be my first time playing with another back who is very similar to my style”, said Bush. It happened while he was pushed out of bounds while returning a punt and lost his footing on the concrete before sliding into the padded wall of the stands. “That’s kind of been what I’ve done throughout my career. Those were my initial thoughts”, he said.

Bush, 31, had his season cut short after he suffered a torn ACL in 2015 as a member of the 49ers.

It’s a curious move if the Bills see Bush as a cure for their not-so-scary-on-paper return game. Now the one-time Dolphin – who has appeared in just 29 games over the past three seasons due to injuries – is back in the AFC East, passing a physical Monday morning and meeting with Bills executives before making it official. I believe the players will rise to the occasion to keep their Head Coach’s job.

“So, I’m not bringing in Reggie, we’re not bringing in Reggie just to be the number two back”.

Bush also has enough experience in the league to compliment Bills starting running back LeSean McCoy as a backup. “I ran into Reggie in Las Vegas in the summer and he was asking me what Rex was all about and I told him how I really love playing for him and love being around him”.

Last year, Bills quarterbacks made 68 of their 437 total attempts (15.5%) behind the line of scrimmage.

Bush first played in a rotation catching punts and caught several but was the first returner to muff one. He’s on his fourth team in five years, too, but he’s always been a receiving threat out of the backfield and has four career punt return touchdowns.

That means Bush will compete with Mike Gillislee and 2016 fifth-round pick Jonathan Williams, who was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated earlier this month.

Bush said he’s had no previous relationship with McCoy, but is eager to build one.
