Clinton leads Trump in red state Georgia
An average of polls aggregated by Real Clear Politics showed Clinton ahead of Trump by 6.8 percentage points on Friday, up from 3.9 on August 1.
In the latest poll conducted by McClatchy-Marist, it was revealed that Hillary Clinton has a huge 15-point lead against Donald Trump.The Republican candidate also lost the support of men as well as white voters which led to the Democratic candidate going up, according to the poll.
“Of course some of the appeal is xenophobic, racist, and misogynistic”.
Clinton has opened a significant lead over Trump since the Democratic National Convention ended. “Let’s not forget the real economic challenges”.
Just before the clip that Trump pulled out, Clinton was talking about the “loopholes and special breaks” in the tax code that benefit the rich and worsen income inequality. And among those who supported Sanders during the primary season, less than half were prepared to say they’ll support Clinton over Trump in the fall.
When asked whether her opponent Donald Trump is appealing to racists, Clinton said that “we have to acknowledge” that there is a racist and xenophobic appeal in his message. It shows Clinton leading Trump 41 percent to 9 percent with voters 18-29. But on Friday afternoon, Clinton broke the mold, engaging in a Q&A with black and Latino journalists at the conference for the National Associations of Black Journalists and Hispanic Journalists in Washington, DC. Among all voters, former President Bill Clinton gets a positive score of +13 points (55 favorable vs. 42 unfavorable) and President Barack Obama receives a net positive +10 rating (54 favorable vs. 44 unfavorable). Trump’s support had fallen to 89 percent.
Trump declined an invitation to speak at the conference.
Among all young adults in the GenForward poll, 43 percent say Clinton intentionally broke the law in her use of a private email address on a personal server while she was secretary of state, and another 20 percent think she did so unintentionally.
Clinton must show that her much-touted cool-headedness and experience in government don’t make her an unimaginative tool of the establishment.
“This will be fast tracked”.
Efforts to overhaul immigration have hit roadblocks in the past. So much of Trump’s pitch to voters was based on his standing in the polls – I’m winning and that means I am a victor and, therefore, someone you should vote for – that it was hard to imagine what he would even say if he wasn’t ahead.
So the question is: Will Hillary continue to have an ongoing and open dialogue with Sanders supporters in order to persuade them to support her up until November?
