Gas prices down 6 cents nationally to $2.16 a gallon
Despite a slight jump in the past week, Missouri’s gas prices are at a 12 year low.
The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County dropped today to its lowest amount since March 21, decreasing 1.1 cents to $2.729.
Gas prices are even cheaper in Orlando, at $1.93 a gallon.
This marks the eighth straight week that pump prices have fallen in New Jersey.
The statewide per-gallon gas price for unleaded regular was $2.05 on Monday, about 2 cents less than a week ago and 17 cents less than a month ago.
Despite the summer road trip season, abundant gas supplies and lower oil prices continue to drive gasoline prices down, said Will Speer, a senior petroleum analyst at GasBuddy.
That wasn’t the case in South Florida, where high local taxes keep prices well above the state average.
