Curt Schilling Says He’s Thinking About Running For President
In fact, his politically-charged social media posts wound up getting him fired from his $2.5-million-a-year gig as a baseball analyst at ESPN earlier this year.
In later comments, he displays just how unprofessional, childish and sexist he can be by using a host of profanities ― including calling Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton a “skank” and referring to politicians and other commenters as “dumb ass“.
Now, the man of 10,000 useless quotes – many of them overtly political in nature, to the point of ultimately costing Schilling his ESPN baseball gig – has now made a decision to trade twitter trolling for the more civilized thrills (not really) of running for political office.
Schilling lost his ESPN job for good after posting a meme showing a man dressed in revealing women’s clothing. Now, the former Red Sox ace has his sights set on the presidency-a little later. But for those who were, Sunday Schilling provided an answer via Facebook: A potential political run.
Can you picture Curt Schilling as commander-in-chief? He’s pro-military, pro-police and very anti-Islam (or “radical” Islam, at least).
So yes, Schilling is the proverbial “crazy conservative uncle” that everyone jokes about but no one seems to actually have.
