Dungy, Favre inducted into Hall
The SEC, specifically the state of Alabama, will be well represented Saturday at the Pro Football Hall of Fame enshrinement ceremony in Canton, Ohio.

Brett Favre, welcome to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The Colts made the playoffs every year under Dungy and won at least 12 games in six of them, winning five division titles and Super Bowl XLI.
A swashbuckler with no fear on the field – in addition to completing 6,300 passes for 71,838 yards and 508 touchdowns, he threw an NFL-high 336 interceptions – Favre was a three-time All-Pro and made 11 Pro Bowls. Before joining Indianapolis, Dungy turned around a perennial loser in Tampa Bay, taking the Buccaneers to the 1999 NFC title game. Harrison spent his entire 13-year career with the Colts, with whom he compiled 1,102 receptions, 14,580 yards and 128 touchdowns. At the time of his retirement, had National Football League records for completions, attempts, yards and touchdowns. For his career, he finished second to Jerry Rice in career receptions, most consecutive games with a reception (190) and most career 100-yard games (59).
“Hey, Tim McGraw one night, Brett going into the Hall of Fame the next”, Lou said. “And I saw the work ethic that you had, and we carried that on for quite a few more years”.
“I’m so proud to see where you kids are today, but I’m really excited to see where you’re going to be in the future”, Pace said to his three sons and his daughter.
Despite the record-breaking 143-catch season, Harrison recalled offensive coordinator Tom Moore being upset with him at the start of the following year’s training camp. The 49ers won five Super Bowls with DeBartolo as owner, who also had players like Young and safety Ronnie Lott.
He was presented via video by Hall of Fame coach John Madden. That was the second-most ever at the time of his retirement.

Pace also said that Rams coach Dick Vermeil was the “heart and soul” of the team.
