Savannah, Ga. (WJCL) – A low pressure system over the northeast Gulf of Mexico will pull up deep moisture across the area today. This system is forecast to remain over land and development is not expected. Rain chances have dropped off, and that’s allowed summer heat and humidity to rule the headlines again.

Many will have the potential to bring downpours, lightning, thunder, and gusty winds.
