No Man’s Sky Steam PC Files Hint At Xbox One Version
The game was developed using the Havoc physics engine, and the Havoc license Hello Games purchased allows for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One development.
There’s been some speculation that this might be No Man’s Sky’s player character; Hello Games has deliberately made it impossible for players to ever see their own avatar, keeping their species and other details mysterious.
Still, if it does end up going over to Microsoft’s console, it will be a symbolic victory. Given the commercial success that is taking shape, at least we know that Sean Murray team will certainly fund to optimize and shape No Man’s Sky much as possible. While a lot of questions remain about the universe in which the game is set though, there is one that is puzzling people the most: what are you?
On PC and PS4, No Man’s Sky generated significant curiosity among the public. As usually tends to happen with PC games, users have begun digging through the game’s code to see what sort of things are hidden underneath. Murray mentioned the fact that he needed to be “very specific with [his] words”, reported Digital Spy.
When Sean Murray was asked about whether No Man’s Sky will come to Xbox One, he gave quite a coy response. Although gamers can install a window’s program on their Mac computers to play “No Man’s Sky”, there is still a bit of hope that a Mac version could be in the works and gamers will have to wait for further announcements from Hello Games after they have launched, thus having several post launch plans. It seems likely that the studio is considering No Man’s Sky Xbox One version. Meaning, more powerful hardware does not mean upgraded textures or a higher frame rate.
