Samsung Galaxy Note 7 pre-orders are open with Gear VR offered
If the early reviews of the Galaxy Note 7 are any indication, that just might be the case. The new Galaxy Note 7 with upgraded features including a much-improved pen stylus and iris scanner raised much hype since its unpacking earlier this month.
You can now write down a memo on the Note7’s Always-On Display with the S Pen even when the phone is wet or partially in water.
With the new iPhones due out in less than a month, the competition is about to get a lot stronger and most people will probably want to hold off and see how Apple’s new phones compare, Dawson added. Finally, a SIM tool rounds-out this in-box hardware package, which you’ll need to outfit your new Note 7 with a microSD card if you feel like boosting its 64GB of internal storage. You also get an iris scanner for authentication purposes, just like what you do with your fingerprint scanner.
If you are an owner of any of these devices and expecting for a latest Android N (Nougat) version 7.0 update on any of these phones, you will be disappointed. Unlike the Galaxy S7 that came in with slight design changes and major improvements under the hood and on camera performance, the Galaxy Note 7 debuted a new design language for the Galaxy Note series.
The Gear VR headset was developed in collaboration with American virtual reality technology company Oculus.
The Samsung Cloud service is expected to backup the entire phone and allow easy transfer of data, apps and settings between devices.
Also notable. I didn’t conduct formal battery tests, but Note 7 does have a bigger battery than prior models. If you do run out of juice, you can charge up the phone in a hurry, either via the supplied cable adaptor or via an optional wireless charging pad accessory. According to this report, Samsung is aggressively diversifying its range of suppliers, and is doing that for one specific cause, to meet the demand for the Galaxy Note 7.
