Clinton says Trump’s tax plan would deprive
The liberals criticizing Trump say that it would be wrong if the Russians, or another nation that had such emails, released them to influence the upcoming election.
Trump has previously called for an unprecedented temporary ban on Muslims entering the USA, and said in his OH speech that he would overhaul the nation’s screening process and block those who sympathize with extremist groups or fail to embrace American values. The campaign told the group that it would be increasing its focus on TV ads after September 1 – to date Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton has outspent Trump in TV ad buys by tens of millions of dollars.
Trump, who has so far proven deeply unpopular with black voters, made a direct appeal to them Tuesday: “I’m asking for the vote of every African American citizen struggling in our country today who wants a different and much better future”.
Moreover, he tells a crowd of mostly white supporters that the “Democratic Party has failed and betrayed the African-American community”.
Smith’s shooting sparked demonstrations in predominantly African-American areas of the city, which saw protesters hurl bricks at police vehicles and set a gas station on fire. “They have taken advantage”.
Instead, he accused Clinton of “bigotry” by seeing “communities of color … only as votes” and “not as individual human beings”. He said it’s time to offer his political opponents “some competition for these votes”.
“No community in this country has been hurt more by Hillary Clinton’s immigration and all of her policies than the African-American community”, Trump remarked.
In the 2-minute clip, Trump’s speech centers on the unrest in Milwaukee prompted by the shooting of Sylville Smith during a traffic stop. “The gun was pointed at his [a police officer’s] head supposedly ready to be fired”, said Trump. “Supposed to talk him out of it?” That’s what the narrative is. Maybe it’s not true. “If it is true, people shouldn’t be rioting”.
But a recent series of gaffes had even members of his own party begging him to reel in the brash remarks.
Trump also accused Clinton and Democrats of deepening racial divides and fostering “the risky anti-police atmosphere in America”. “The problem in our poorest communities is not that there are too many police, the problem is that there are not enough police”. “They’re terrific people, they’re winners, they’re champs, and we need to win it”, Trump told The Associated Press in a phone interview in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
The news, first reported by the Wall Street Journal, comes as opinion surveys show Trump trailing Clinton nationally and in a host of key battleground states following a hard campaign stretch that saw him insulting the Muslim parents of a soldier who died in Iraq and temporarily refraining from endorsing House Speaker Paul Ryan, who was involved in a primary in his home state of Wisconsin.
