A Little Rain, Then Sunshine
Better conditions for widespread showers and storms will set up behind that front so we will have showers and storms developing during the second half of Friday.
FRIDAY: A nice end to the work week, with highs in the upper 80s.
Thursday will start with patchy fog, then got hot and humid, with a high in the lower 90s. Tuesday begins a stretch of days that quite possibly could last into the rest of the month for at least a chance of showers/storms across some part of northeast Kansas. Temperatures will remain on the warm side, with highs ranging from the mid 80s to mid 90s.
While it’s still technically humid outside, compared to recent days it feels nearly refreshing! Some might even call it a taste of autumn! With lighter winds and the moisture in the air, fog is possible late.
It will stay mild and humid with temperatures falling through the 70s. Highs Thursday will again be in the mid-80s.
Storms will exit later this morning, revealing some sunshine for the midday and afternoon hours.
For the coming weekend Saturday and Sunday look like they will be partly cloudy to mostly cloudy.
Tonight: Mainly clear to partly cloudy and comfortable. Fog/clouds may linger along the shoreline. Localized heavy rain will be the main threat. Highs are expected to be in the upper 70s to near 80.
