Airtel announces 4G offer for Samsung Galaxy J series users

India’s leading telecom operator Airtel has announced that it will be offering 10GB 4G data at the price of 1GB, to customers who purchase any of Samsung’s Galaxy J series of smartphones.

Smartphone customers will have log on towww.offers.airtel.com from their new Samsung J series devices using Airtel mobile internet (not Wi-Fi) and follow instructions. Nearly all telecom operators like Vodafone, Airtel, Aircel, Idea have announced a price cut and offers to retain the present customer base and lure new customers. The customer need to visit the offer page using Airtel Mobile data only.

For non-4G markets, Airtel has specified users can avail 10GB of 3G data, which is broken down into 1GB of day-time 3G data plus 9GB night-time 3G data.

Airtel’s offer is for prepaid users only, and those buying 1GB of data for Rs 250 will instead get 10GB of data at the same cost. Once you perform all the required steps, you’ll get 10GB data. They can then avail three months of free Preview offer that will give them free unlimited 4G internet, voice and video calling as well as free unlimited SMS. Airtel has not revealed on which Samsung Galaxy J devices the offer can be claimed. The free 9GB data can be consumed in night between 12AM to 6AM. “We believe this partnership will help customers enjoy best-in-class smartphone experience on Airtel’s 4G network”, Ajai Puri, director, market operations, Bharti Airtel said.

The Samsung Galaxy owners can go now insert Airtel sim cards and avail the offer using the mobile data.
