Donald Trump calls himself Mr Brexit in tweet
We hope that his tweet means Trump is giving up his presidential campaign and leaving politics for good. Polls were tight ahead of the vote for Brexit – or British exit – but nonetheless showed a slight edge for a vote for Britain to stay. “[The] government, business, academics, media, universally, the establishment said we got to say”.
“Everybody in the establishment in Britain said, “we got to stay, ‘” Varney told Fox News” “Fox & Friends” program. “They voted to leave”.
Controversy after controversy has plagued his campaign, leaving his Democratic opponent, Hillary Clinton, with a sizable lead in almost every national poll.
Donald Trump’s latest weird stunt is putting Brexit back on the list of hot topics.
GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump called himself Mr. Brexit on Twitter Thursday, which some took as a suggestion that he will defy the polls just like the unexpected success of the “Brexit” referendum earlier this year.
But Trump has a much steeper hill to climb to match the surprise results of the Brexit vote. “There is a parallel between the two”. Not only the United States but other countries. They want to have independence in a sense.
“They’re angry over borders, they’re angry over people coming into the country and taking over and nobody even knows who they are”.
Mr Trump has vowed to ban all Muslims from entering America and pledged to build a wall between the United States and Mexico if elected to the White House in November.
As many of us may remember, Trump publicly supported the Brexit decision and said it would benefit his businesses.
He also blamed President Barack Obama for the outcome of the vote.
