Donald Trump Attacks Hillary Clinton by Calling Anthony Weiner a ‘Pervert Sleaze’
“It was a time bomb that had to explode and explode it did on September 11, changing in its wake the life and times of the very community and the people it aimed to serve”.In 2010, Huma Abedin arranged for then-Secretary of State Clinton to speak alongside Abedin’s hijab-wearing mother at an all-girls college in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The Journal of Muslim Minority Affairs has consistently rejected Clinton’s feminist platform.
Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump attacked former NY representative Anthony Weiner, calling the husband of top Clinton aide Huma Abedin a “pervert sleaze” just one day after the NY businessman’s new campaign manager said he “doesn’t hurl personal insults”. She began her career as an intern in the White House in 1996, when Hillary Clinton was first lady, and was assigned as back-up to Clinton’s primary aide.
Abedin’s connection to the journal has been reported on before.
In 1995 Clinton addressed the United Nation’s conference on women in Bejing in 1995, where she famously said “women’s rights are human rights”. The article accused Clinton and other speakers of distributing a “very aggressive and radically feminist” agenda.
The New York Post detailed various pieces in the publication that opposed women’s rights, including one written by Abedin’s mother that described how women should be subservient to men. “She knows everything that Hillary Clinton is doing and she’s married to a guy that has no control over himself”.
“In an article published in 1996, Abedin’s mother, Saleha Mahmood Abedin, touted the subservience of women under Sharia Law and argued the “‘Empowerment’ of women does more harm than benefit the cause of women or their relations with men”.
“Pushing [mothers] out into the open labor market is a clear demonstration of a lack of respect of womanhood and motherhood”, it added.
It has spoken out against women’s liberation and the right for single moms and gay couples to be called normal families, instead advocating conservative Islamic values and “traditional” families.
The journal is published by the Institute of Muslim Minority Affairs, which was also started by Abedin’s parents.
“A conjugal family established through a marriage contract between a man and a woman, and extended through procreation is the only definition of family a Muslim can accept”, the author, a Saudi official with the Muslim World League, asserted, while warning of “the dangers of alternative lifestyles”.
‘She did not play a role in editing at the publication’.
