Brock Lesnar sounds warning to Conor McGregor following conference call criticism
Catching up with Randy yesterday, he explained his frustration at Brock’s lack of commitment to the WWE fans when he claimed “Everyone knows Lesnar’s not around a lot and that’s not fair to the WWE Universe”.
We’ll see if the Brock Lesnar-Chris Jericho altercation has any other details come to light.
Brock Lesnar may not be done with the UFC just yet.
Orton then capitalized on the event to hype up their SummerSlam square off during several cameo speeches at WWE.
Interviewed ahead of Summer Slam and on the eve of UFC 202 Saturday night, Lesnar took exception to McGregor’s trash-talking of the WWE. According to multiple reports, Chris Jericho called Lesnar out for what he did to Orton after his match and almost got into a fight with him before other WWE wrestlers and executives stepped in and stopped the two men from going at it.
Lesnar reportedly pushed Jericho with his fingers.
But for anyone questioning whether Orton got busted open for real by taking a hardway, this picture of Orton’s head posted to Facebook by Monday Night Raw general manager Mick Foley should be all you need to see.
Now, Cageside Seats has provided new details on the Lesnar vs. Jericho backstage fight, which you can check out below.
Lesnar called out Jericho, and told him to “shut up”, or called him a “p***y” according to different versions of the events.
“I take sh*ts bigger than that kid”, Lesnar said when asked if he’d take on McGregor in the WWE ring. Triple H broke up the fight before Vince McMahon stepped in to assure Jericho that the bit was planned. Nevertheless, the WWE got what it wanted but they should have been more vocal since their locker room is one tight unit. “Go fake yourself”, Tweeted the WWE superstar.
As such, if ever the rumors turn out to be true, fans will have a different reaction should they face off in the ring once again.
McGregor would be out of his element in the WWE, where size is key, and McGregor certainly would be undersized compared to top stars like Roman Reigns and Randy Orton.
