Trump postpones immigration speech
Donald Trump’s new campaign manager Kellyanne Conway on Sunday reversed her position that the GOP presidential nominee should release his tax returns while under audit.
A key question looms for vulnerable Republican senators this election: If Donald Trump loses and loses big, can they still survive? This time, though, he appears poised to lay out a more nuanced immigration policy – one that could foil back some of the unapologetically blunt proposals that helped carry him to victory in the GOP primaries.
That’s fueling questions that Trump may be on the verge of a big flip-flop — something the candidate is denying. Government figures, though, do not indicate that these immigrants commit violent crimes more frequently than legal residents do.
“As far as everybody else, we’re going to go through the process”, he said, citing the policies of President Barack Obama and former President George W. Bush as examples. “We want people – we have some great people in this country”. You’ve got to get everybody to go out and watch. “We either have a country or we don’t have a country”.

“We’re rounding ’em up in a very humane way, in a very nice way”, Trump said in September on “60 Minutes” discussing how he would implement the deportation plan. “But not everything is nice”.
