Will we see a curved iPhone display coming in 2017?
As 2017 will be the 10th anniversary of the iPhone, it is likely the iPhone 8 will be the device with the big changes. The report also suggested that the third iPhone from the Cupertino-based company will change the whole game by sporting an OLED display, source MacRumors.

Apple slumped in their share of the Indian market compared to Samsung in the second quarter of 2016 was proven true by the figures. But what’s interesting about this year’s iPhone 7 release is that, well, it hasn’t been the one grabbing all the headlines; no, that handset is Apple’s 2017 iPhone which has also been leaking all over the place.
Earlier this year, we reported that Apple had awarded a $2.59 billion contract to Samsung for the supply of OLED displays starting next year.
According to sources familiar with Apple’s plans speaking with Nikkei, Apple is planning three iPhones for release in 2017.
Clearly, the screen size of all the previous Plus models of iPhones make them fall in the phablet category, which means the latest Note 7 series is a benchmark the iPhone 7 plus needs to keep in mind.
For one, the iPhone 6S suffered from battery issues which many users are hoping will be picked up on with the launch of the iPhone 7.
Apple has not announced an exact date, but tech experts have their own theories. Curved smartphones have been a success for Samsung in recent years, with the Galaxy S7 edge outselling the flat Galaxy S7.
Next year’s iPhone is promising to include three different and distinct variants. However, it remains to be seen whether the Samsung will be able to meet the required demand of Apple.
Apple is clearly not the first smartphone manufacturer to introduce a device with a dual-lens camera.
Be that as it may, iPhone 7 will have to compete with the likes of Samsung Galaxy Note 7 and S7 in order to reclaim Apple’s glory.
