Robbie Benson’s brilliant goal for Dundalk against Legia Warsaw

Dundalk now go into the draw for the Europa League group stages on Friday.

Assistant manager Vinny Perth was a guest on Now That’s What I Call Sport last weekend, he gave Jamie Moore some insight into their preparations for this game. We received it and passed it well, particularly in the first half.

“Legia have home advantage, their passionate fans, great stadium with great support, but we look forward to playing in that environment”. I can not pick a team I would like to face in the group stage, nor any favourite player – there are so many great guys in this competition. “I’d certainly be looking at this Dundalk side and thinking they could pick up a couple of points and bring it on even further”.
