Trump campaign chief registered to vote at empty Florida home
In a Bloomberg News profile of Bannon, reporter Joshua Green said that he had spoken with Andrew Breitbart before the website founder’s death. “Mr. Bannon never said anything like that and proudly sent the girls to Archer for their middle school and high school education”, a statement said, according to the Guardian.
Asked about the old charges, Bannon’s personal spokeswoman, Alexandra Preate, noted they had been dismissed.
Police say the report was made available to Politico by mistake.
However, Piccard said that during a joint visit to Westland School and Willows Community School, also in Los Angeles, Bannon “asked the director why there were so many Chanukah books in the library”. Bannon was charged with three misdemeanor domestic violence-related charges and pleaded not guilty.
“The biggest problem he had with Archer is the number of Jews that attend”, Piccard wrote.
Hillary Clinton attempted to use Bannon’s role in the campaign Thursday to tie Trump to the so-called alt-right, an ideology often associated with efforts to preserve “white identity”, and oppose multiculturalism and globalization.
U.S. presidential hopeful Donald Trump’s newly-appointed campaign manager was charged with domestic violence in 1996, NY newspapers have reported.
When she told him there were Jewish children at a different school, she said he asked the percentage. The ex-wife then went back inside the house to call 911, and as she was calling the number, Bannon “jumped over her and (the couple’s twin daughters)” to pry the phone away.
“Bannon made it clear that he would not marry me just because I was pregnant”, Piccard claimed in a document. This is also not the first time Bannon linked his voter registration to a house he never occupied: he previously did the same with his ex-wife for a two year period starting in 2013.
In a redacted Santa Monica crime report obtained by Politico, Bannon is described attacking Piccard. Bannon’s wife, who was not named by Politico for the sake of privacy, reportedly looked “very upset” and took “several minutes” to get her thoughts together as she spoke to police. A responding officer reported seeing marks on the woman’s neck and wrist.
In an interview with Good Morning America on Friday, newly hired campaign manager Kellyanne Conway said it’s unclear if Trump knew about Bannon’s alleged history of domestic violence before hiring him as campaign CEO.
