Trump says Clinton is a ‘bigot’
“When Democratic policies fail, they are left with this one exhausted argument: ‘You’re racist, you’re racist, you’re racist, ‘” the GOP presidential nominee said at a rally here yesterday.
“I am sure because I have a very strong foundation of understanding about the foundation”, Mrs. Clinton said on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe”.
“We are going to be testing that”.
Trump’s appeal to Hispanics largely echoed his recent outreach to African-Americans.
While the parent Clinton Foundation will stop accepting money from foreign governments and corporations, the foundation’s largest project, the Clinton Health Access Initiative, might continue to accept foreign government and corporate funding, Clinton health initiative officials said Wednesday.
“I made policy decisions based on what I thought was right to keep [Americans] safe and protect our interests overseas”, Mrs. Clinton said Friday.
Meanwhile, “healthers” are using junk science and conspiracy theories to argue that Clinton is suffering from a series of debilitating brain injuries.
“And in 2009, they (the Clinton Foundation) took steps that went above and beyond all legal requirements, and indeed, all standard requirements followed by every other charitable organization – voluntarily disclosing donors, significantly reducing sources of funding, even to the point of, you know, of (that) funding being involved in providing medication to treat HIV/AIDS”.
The back-and-forth accusations came as the two candidates vie for minorities and any undecided voters. With just weeks before the first early voting, Trump faces the urgent task of revamping his image to win over those skeptical of his candidacy.
Trump’s comments are the latest turn in a now-daily recalibration of his position on immigration, which Trump said he would crystallize in a speech next week.
“[Trump] is taking a hate movement mainstream”, Clinton said.

He claims that the Democrats have taken minority voters’ support for granted.
At the same event with Hannity, Trump, who over the weekend met with Hispanic advisers, said about his immigration policies: “There could certainly be a softening because we’re not looking to hurt people”.
Many black leaders and voters have dismissed Trump’s message as condescending and intended more to reassure undecided white voters that he’s not racist.
Thompson says Trump has not proven to be presidential with respect to diversity. He added that Trump refused the group’s invitation to speak at its convention.
“Why would anyone be surprised that Trump has pivoted to becoming the “amnesty” candidate?” said Republican strategist Rick Tyler, a former spokesman for US Senator Ted Cruz of Texas, a conservative.
