Mariah Carey’s dying, HIV-positive sister Alison Carey arrested for prostitution

According to the Daily Freeman, Alison Carey was arrested by police in an undercover operation in a NY hotel.

Carey, 55, the older sister of the superstar singer, was arrested by Saugerties police following an undercover investigation into allegations that she was prostituting out of a town of Saugerties hotel. Police say she was working out of a hotel for at least a week and advertised her services on the internet.

Carey told police she was related to the “Heartbreaker” singer after being arrested, and Police Chief Joseph Sinagra said an internet search seemed to confirm their relationship, according to the report.

Alison is being held on a $1,000 bail and is due to appear in Saugerties Town Court on Tuesday.

Mariah Carey’s sister, Alison Carey, was arrested last week in NY state. The sisters (who share an older brother, Morgan Carey) have been estranged for years.

Sinagra said that “based on other stories”, anyone who had sexual contact – particularly if it was unprotected – with Alison Carey could have cause for concern, and are urged to see a doctor.

In the clip, which was released in March by theDaily Mail, the down and out sister begged, ‘Mariah, I love you. The reason for the video was meant to reach out to Mariah Carey and to prove that Alison was alert and aware. Mariah and Alison have been estranged for more than half a decade.
