Joe Hart Close to Joining Torino on Loan
The 29-year-old appears to be on his way to Italy, with his agent revealing he would undergo a medical with Serie A side Torino on Tuesday.
Joe Hart is quitting Manchester City to join Torino on loan.
The goalkeeper is now on worldwide duty ahead of upcoming World Cup qualifiers for England, but has been given permission by the Football Association to speak with the Serie A side.
The England number one has lost his position as first choice at the Etihad Stadium, with new manager Pep Guardiola preferring Wilfredo Caballero in four out of five games this season.
City and Torino are discussing Hart’s possible loan move, according to media reports.
Allardyce had told a press conference on Monday morning that he was willing to let players leave his training camp before Wednesday’s transfer deadline to address their club futures.
“‘I would (allow them to leave)”, he said.
“How we deal with it I don’t know yet”.
Hart has told Torino he is ready to accept their offer to resurrect his club career in Serie A. “I’m exceptionally pleased that I am not dealing with the last few days of the transfer window in the Premier League”.
Torino’s director of sport Gianluca Petrachi has said his club are hoping to agree a deal with Hart.
“If it’s Hart then good, otherwise we will certainly be doing something in the market for that role”.
