Super Mario Maker is coming to the Nintendo 3DS in December

Leading off the news was a still-unnamed, side-scrolling version of Pikmin. The whole basis of the game is to be random to keep you playing. Many players have been clamouring for a 3DS port and, at long last, Nintendo has finally delivered.
They’ll have “special functionality” in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
Yesterday, Emily Rogers also corroborated a report from Laura Kate Dale at LetsPlayVideogames that mentioned a split D-Pad and “Share” button in the Nintendo NX prototype. There will also be a number of stop motion shorts to enjoy. If the NX is indeed region-free, then it would allow gamers to import games that would otherwise not see a release in their home countries and play them without any worry of them not functioning. Nintendo did something similar for the summer releases back in March’s Nintendo Direct.
IGN speculated earlier today that Nintendo could actually use this time to focus on the upcoming 3DS games that are scheduled to ship for the system prior to the end of the year.
