Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds share Jesus Alone video
The documentary film “One More Time with Feeling”, which examines the process behind the creation of Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds 16th album “Skeleton Tree”, premieres in Turkey and worldwide in a single screening scheduled to be held Thursday Sept. 8, just one day after the album’s release.
Jesus Alone has arrived with an official video too, a black-and-white video similar to the band’s upcoming feature film One More Time With Feeling.
Skeleton Tree, Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds’ sixteenth studio album, will be released globally on vinyl, CD and across all digital platforms the following day, September 9.
The LP and its companion feature film One More Time With Feeling represent Cave’s first works of art since his 15-year old-son Arthur died tragically in a fall from a cliff in Brighton, England last year.
The first piece of music taken from the forthcoming album Skeleton Tree.
A cinematic and haunting track, Jesus Alone captures something in-between the 1994 album Let Love In and the band’s most recent record Push The Sky Away. It’s a hypnotic six-minute long song and the video is a simple black & white clip of Cave and the band performing the song in the studio. The result is stark, fragile and raw and a true testament to an artist searching for his way through the darkness.
