Here’s Kanye West’s Response to Ray J’s Feelings About His VMAs Speech
The 39-year-old star said: “I am Kanye West and it feels really great to say that – especially this year”. Click through to watch his baffled explanation!
Asked by TMZ whether there were any ambitions he omitted from his MTV Video Music Awards speech at the weekend, Kanye said he hoped to design clothes for school kids in his home city of Chicago, explaining that the move would be “a starting point for eventually ending classism and bullying worldwide”.
Kanye also addressed R. Jay’s anger at his “Famous” music video. You know, the one that featured a bunch of naked celebrities – well, their wax figures – together in bed with Kanye!
While the name drop was quick and subtle, with Ye saying, “I put Ray J in it, bro! This is fame, bro”, he told the VMAs audience.
“We’re all in the same bed!” “I don’t understand why people would get mad”. And, Ray called Kanye a hypocrite for embracing his wife’s sex tape now that it suits his purposes. “I bet me and Ray J would be friends if we ain’t love the same bitch/Yeah, he might’ve hit it first/Only problem is, I’m rich”. “I don’t know, that’s the whole point I wanted to make; just love each other and have a good time and life”.
Leaving his Taylor comments out of this, the clear best moment of the speech came during his reference to Ray J, who, by the way, reportedly wasn’t as big a fan of the speech as the rest of us were.
