Who is former Fox News host Andrea Tantaros?
Anchor Andrea Tantaros filed her complaint in the New York State Supreme Court and named Fox News and several of its executives, including Ailes, recently named co-president Bill Shine, programming head Suzanne Scott, counsel Dianne Brandi and public relations chief Irena Briganti. Shortly after this she was moved from The Five to Outnumbered, thought to be a lesser show.
Brown, who was accused of making sexually inappropriate comments and touching Tantaros’ waist in a lawsuit filed against Fox News on Monday, called the allegations “fabricated”, adding that he would not display such behavior given his own experiences with sexual abuse in a Tuesday tweet.
“Ailes did not act alone”, the lawsuit reportedly states.
Tantaros’ lawsuit said she was not among the Fox News employees interviewed by the law firm Paul Weiss, which conducted the internal investigation after Carlson filed her lawsuit.
Stacey Dash turned in her black card to become a ride-or-die chick for Fox News.
When Tarantos complained to Mr Shine in April 2015, she says he discouraged her complaint, saying that Ailes was a “very powerful man” and she “needed to let this one go”. The interviewer allegedly asked her about her breasts.
This latest sexual harassment case against Ailes, along with the many others, shows how misogyny is condoned at Fox News.
Using the strongest language against Fox News yet, former Fox host Andrea Tantaros said that the news network she was employed by was operating as a charade.
Fox in a statement said it does not comment on pending litigation.
Fox News is a “sex-fueled, Playboy Mansion-like cult”, ex-presenter Andrea Tantaros has claimed in a lawsuit against her former employer.
Luhn said before she left Fox News she was kept incommunicado at New York’s Warwick Hotel from friends and family under the watch of Ailes and his deputy, Bill Shine, who screened her emails and communications.
Tantaros has shared her experiences of violation at the hands of Ailes and other Fox execs.
But according to Mr Trump’s new campaign manager, Kellyanne Conway, Ailes is not involved in the campaign itself. BuzzFeed reported in August that Fox News claimed that Tarantos never got approval from the network to publish the book, as required under her contract with the network. However, Stacey Dash will probably find some way to either defend Ailes’ alleged statements or deny that he holds any racists thoughts.
However, according to multiple reports, Ailes has offered Mr Trump, the individual, personal advice.
