The Walking Dead Season Three: A New Frontier Premieres This November
Telltale Games held a panel at PAX West last night where the next season of The Walking Dead was given its final and full title. The first episode will be available on consoles, PC and Mac computers, and mobile platforms.
The Walking Dead: Season Three is set to release this November.
Since its unveiling at E3 in June, the title and release window for the next season of the series have been tightly under wraps. Fans should go insane, as the first two episodic series of the long-running story-based game were extremely popular for the gripping drama and wrenching choices that players had to make, usually about who to save when you can’t save everybody from the zombie and survivalist threats. On the basis of its story, “A New Frontier” may imply that Clementine has a journey to look forward to and has found a reason for hope amidst the zombie apocalypse. Fans can also purchase a Season Pass Disc for consoles that promises the premier episode for season three in addition to access to the rest of the upcoming episodes in the season. While there aren’t many details surrounding A New Frontier, it is known that you’ll be playing as both Clementine and new playable character Javier.
Players will be able to take control of series newcomer Javier who is described as “a man struggling to keep his family together in the new world”.
Telltale Games has announced the new installment to its acclaimed video game entry into “The Walking Dead” franchise, revealing that “The Walking Dead: Season 3” will release in November with the new “A New Frontier” subtitle. This also has the benefit of introducing the series to those who haven’t played the first seasons.
Well, it’s official. We will get to continue Clementine’s post-apocalyptic story just in time for the holiday season.
