Stranger Things: What Season Two Will Be About
Netflix today confirmed via its official Twitter account that the Stranger Things adventure continues and that all new episodes will be released with the second season of this show in 2017.
Okay, maybe I should slow down a bit. We all knew the smash-hit horror series would return, so the really exciting thing about this news is the accompanying teaser trailer. Or maybe I’m insane and everything will turn out fine. When show creators Matt and Ross Duffer spoke with reporters at the Television Critics Association press tour back in July, they hinted that season 2 would reveal more about Will Byers’ backstory and his mysterious disappearance. Why 9 and not 10?
“We kinda just peeled back the curtain and revealed a tiny bit of the Upside Down, so we definitely want to explore a little bit more”.
They also view the new season as more of a sequel to the first one – despite the flack that sequels tend to get. In fact, we’ve already compiled a list of 60 questions the show needs to answer.
“I don’t think we ever thought anthology”, Ross Duffer told EW.
These titles leave us wondering what unusual occurrences will happen next, although we can probably expect to see how Will is coping now that he has returned from the Upside Down.
Netflix chief executive Reed Hastings told the Guardian last month that the streaming service “would be dumb” not to recommission the show, which was the U.S. watercooler hit of the summer. “I think if we extend it too much, it will have a very different feel”.
The most watched Netflix series, “Stranger Things” will have its Season 2. A bewitching blend of Stephen King, Steven Spielberg, and John Carpenter, the series was a surprise hit for the brothers, who had not even considered a second season at the time of its premiere.
