Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston split after whirlwind three months

Almost three months after setting our timelines ablaze with conspiracy theories and definitely-not-staged photos that appear to have been ripped from The Notebook, Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston have reportedly called it quits.

Us is reporting that various sources have confirmed the split, with their insider revealing that Taylor “was the one to put the brakes on the relationship”.

Reports of trouble in Swift and Hiddleston’s relationship began nearly immediately after their relationship became official, but the couple batted them down at every turn, usually by speaking with actions instead of words.

The world first learned of their whirlwind relationship when Swift and Hiddleston were “caught” kissing on a beach in Rhode Island back in June.

We can’t blame Taylor for questioning Tom’s motives considering she’s never walked a red carpet with anyone she’s dated in the past.

Hiddleston came back to Queensland to film the rest of Thor, while Swift has kept a low profile in the U.S.: since the Kanye controversy, she has only posted on Instagram four times: to wish four members of her infamous squad (Selena Gomez, Cara Delevingne, Karlie Kloss and Blake Lively) their respective “happy birthdays”.

“Tom can’t deal with being a laughing stock and has told Taylor he’s done unless there’s a 360-degree change on her part”, an insider told Radar.
