4.1 natural disaster hits Haryana, tremors felt in Delhi, Noida
As per IMD 4.1 magnitude quake hit Haryana. Tremors were felt across Delhi and surrounding areas. At the moment there are no reports of any injuries or damage stemming from this cause.
National Centre for Seismology stated that the epicentre of the natural disaster was Jhajjar district of Haryana.
People come out after mild tremors were felt in New Delhi.
Medium intensity quake was also reported in Nagaland’s capital Kohima earlier on Saturday. Meanwhile, security officials and officials attached to the disaster management are kept on standby. Some claimed they felt tremors for almost 30 seconds in Delhi.
Natural disaster of Magnitude:4.1, Occurred on:10-09-2016, 20:57:24 IST, Lat:28.6 N & Long: “76.6 E, Depth: “10 Km, Region:Jhajjar, Haryana”. The epicentre of the 1227 GMT quake was about 25 kilometres east of the north western town of Nsunga on the border of Lake Victoria.
