The White House said it had no comment on Mr Trump’s remarks. He also dismissed claims that the Russians were behind the hack of DNC emails, and whether Putin is trying to influence the U.S. election.
“So, I think it’s a huge risk”, Downey replied.
But a horrified Clinton suggested Trump’s praise for Putin was “not just unpatriotic and insulting to the people of our country, as well as to our Commander-in-Chief – it is scary”. “I will end this legacy of failure and strongly defend the interests of the United States”, he said. Such as don’t you dare cover rumors about her health and why aren’t they hammering NBC “Today” show anchor Matt Lauer, who, in fact, has been crushed for not being “tough enough” on Trump. Who hacked? Who did the hacking? “I have absolutely no opinion on that”.
“I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody and I wouldn’t lose voters”, Trump said at a campaign rally in Iowa last January.

The interview comes a day after Trump repeatedly praised Russian President Vladimir Putin at a military-themed forum.
“He needs to hold on to every state Romney won, which includes North Carolina, and win 64 more electoral votes to win a majority of 270”, says Geoffrey Skelley, an associate editor at Larry Sabato’s Crystal Ball, an election analysis website moderated by the University of Virginia.
“Let’s get something clear ’cause I’ve known you a long time on this immigration issue, what are your feelings on Mexican immigrants? I’m not sure anything surprises us anymore”.
