Suspect in Drake tour bus theft a homeless janitor
The goods were found in a briefcase in King’s possession.
The suspect, a transient swashbuckler known as Travion King, is believed to have boarded the Canadian-based vessels before making off to his hide-out at Arizona State University.
Update 8:54 p.m. ET: The Associated Press reports that Phoenix police have recovered the jewelry.
King was reportedly seen entering the tour bus sometime on Tuesday evening between 10pm and 10:15pm. King remained while the students called police, who arrived within one minute, Harris said.
According to previous reports, cops say the loot – which belong to Drake’s DJ, Future the Prince – was lifted from one of Drake’s tour buses parked outside the Talking Stick Arena in downtown Phoenix.
Police say King admitted to smoking PCP and marijuana before he was arrested.

The 29-year-old rapper is on the “Summer Sixteen Tour” with Future and had been performing at the Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix, Arizona, on Tuesday when the theft took place. King also faces charges of robbery in connection to the jewelry heist. That office did not immediately return a message seeking comment on Thursday.
The patrols happen around the clock with officers riding bikes and motorcycles, gliding by on Segways, driving cars and patrolling the campus on foot.
