MQM leader Farooq Sattar critically injured in vehicle accident
Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Dr Farooq Sattar sustained injuries in a vehicle crash on Super Highway near Nooriabad on Sunday night, Samaa reported.
The other three persons, who suffered serious injuries in the road accident, were the police guards who were sitting in the back portion of the double-cabin vehicle. The mishap took place at Super Highway, while Sattar was returning from Hyderabad to Karachi. Farooq Sattar suffered injuries on shoulder and hand in the accident.
Farooq Sattar also demanded that government should soon announce packages for Hyderabad and Karachi.
Former MQM leader Aamir Liaquat took to Twitter to pray for the injured politician.
MQM leader Farooq Sattar announced that the hides of sacrificial animals would not be collected by volunteers and members of MQM during Eid days.
Details reveal that Sattar was on his way back from Hyderabad after attending political meetings there.
Farooq and others were rushed to the Agha Khan hospital. According to Khawaja Izharul Hassan, MQM law maker is now stable and out of danger. He represents Constituency NA-257 (Karachi) in the parliament.
