Pakistani Woman arrested for traveling illegaly to meet stars in India
According to sources in Pakistan, Chanda Khan was issued a 15-day visa to travel to India via the Wagah border and her visa is still valid for another three days.
Fozia alias Chanda was detained for allegedly crossing the Indian border without having a passport in a bid to see Bollywood stars Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan. Harshali who played Shahida (munni) in the movie has said that she is a fan of Katrina Kaif. She was made to deboard at Jalandhar. Adding further she said that she was going to meet Salman and SRK.
“Bajrangi Bhaijaan – The Official Game” by Salman Khan Films, entails saving a little girl and taking her home just like the story of the film.
While the police are probing the statement given by the woman, she has been handed over by Government Railway Police to Attari police.
A Pakistani woman was found travelling in Samjhauta Express on Thursday night without any travel documents or other identity proofs.
“During interrogation, the woman claimed that she went through checking at both Lahore and Attari. When contacted, the authorities at Attari said they had no information about Chanda Khan”. She says her uncle stepped off the train to get some water and never returned.
She was sent back to Attari in the wee hours where she was booked under the provisions of Passport Act and under section 14 of Foreigners Act.
The woman said her name was Chanda and people of her village also call her Fouzia.
She even told GRP officials that she had come to India to offer prayers at the famous Sufi shrine in Ajmer.
