Michelle Obama debuts as Ellen DeGeneres’ co-host
For the first time in the show’s history, First Lady Michelle Obama is teaming up with Ellen for the entire hour. Looks like your mom Michelle Obama is on television today, visiting Ellen DeGeneres on the set of her show.
But sometimes, on some sunny days and if you happen to be the First Lady of the United States, she surprises you with Bradley Cooper.
Sitting down with DeGeneres, Obama talked about what she’ll miss the most about the White House when her husband’s second term is up. I have so much hope for this nation and I hope that everybody else does, too. But after some pictures, he stuck around to chat about visiting the White House.
“This is the best country on earth”, she added. “I mean, I just love them to death and the big thing I’ve always anxious about was making sure that they got out of this whole. They’ve loved us, they’ve taken care of us”. These are people who have helped us raise our kids. The minute we leave that’s it. She says she and President Barack Obama are encouraging their daughters to “step back” and appreciate such moments as walking on the South Lawn or taking in the view from the Truman Balcony. “I’m just proud that they are poised, smart, intelligent young women”.
“I’m proud of them they’ve really managed this so well”, Obama said.
