Matt Lauer gets slammed on Full Frontal With Samantha Bee

The “Full Frontal” host returned from vacation Monday night just in time to weigh in on Hillary Clinton’s rough weekend.

“You know, when you see “grossly generalistic” in the prompter, that’s when you take a breath and think, ‘Do I want to keep talking?'” Bee says.

Bee addressed Lauer’s focus on Hillary Clinton’s email scandal in his questions.

“Come on, Hillary, God has given you the gift of opponents even less appealing than you”, Bee said. One…people will call you unpresidential and two, you’ll be glad Matt Lauer is there if you slip and fall off the Intrepid. “Maybe this Halloween he can dress up as a journalist”, she zinged.

Bee then cut to the latest polls, showing a tight race between Clinton and Trump, adding, “Yay, we’re back within the margin of terror!” “I bet the veterans have some things they’d like to ask a draft-dodging, Gold Star family-insulting, war crimes advocating, torture-phile whose worst Vietnam flashbacks involve scrambling for the last place out of gonorrhea”, she said.

A female veteran in the audience asked Trump what he would do about the amount of veterans killing themselves each day and as he corrected her on how many veteran suicides happen per day, she clearly shakes her head in disagreement. Trump corrected the veteran saying, “Actually it’s 22”. Lauer spent a good chunk of the interview asking about the investigation into Clinton’s use of personal email, while he told her to give a brief answer when a veteran asked about deploying troops to combat ISIS.

She then turned her attention to other issues on the campaign trail, like how it’s the media’s job, not the hard-working citizen’s job, to sort through the “geysers of mendacious vomit that spews nonstop from the Trump campaign”.
