Food poisoning would be enough to end anyone’s romantic holiday, but we have to hand it to Amy Schumer for not letting it get her down during her trip to Paris.

Because she’s a professional comedian, Amy had her boyfriend, Ben Hanisch, post the below photos to Instagram with a ideal caption. “I love music and food and I really just want someone to share all of that with”. “So, I’m taking a chance”.

Well, she kinda sorta already has a man in the form of boyfriend Ben Hanisch, but that wasn’t going to stop her either.

Not long after that, she was hospitalized, but she posed for more silly photos of herself on a gurney. She also posted a series of quips about the incident, captioning her photos “No red flags with this girl”. Except the food poisoning.

Why? Because she’s Amy Schumer and she’s awesome and unbelievable and hilarious.

Lena recently posted about how Instagram users can now help stop the abuse, and Amy found time in between being sick and being amusing to show support by re-gramming Lena’s message.

Schumer’s publicist said Tuesday that the comedian is feeling fine now. Schumer and the Chicago-based custom furniture designer began dating in January.

It’s unclear if Hanisch was actually sick as well or was merely providing support for the 35-year-old comic.

“I feel like Ben is the first guy who’s really been my boyfriend”, she said.
