Tavares scores twice, Canada beats US 5-2 in exhibition

Around the Team USA dressing room, players raved about the atmosphere and how it contributed to making the Americans’ 4-2 win over Canada feel like something more than just a pre-tournament game. I polled players from other teams in this tournament, and the majority believe Team USA will beat Team Canada.

As Canada forward John Tavares noted, the team is still trying to find its comfort zone after less than a week on the ice together but the players certainly feel good about where theyre at.
