Watch Tupac Shakur in Violent New ‘All Eyez on Me’ Biopic Trailer
Two decades ago, the world lost one of best lyricist in the game after Tupac was shot multiple times while sitting in a vehicle at a traffic light on a Las Vegas street.
Today is the 20th anniversary of the death of Tupac Shakur, who was gunned down in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas on September 13, 1996.
As The Business Journal reports, Fresno Grizzlies Marketing Director Sam Hansen (who once helped design merch for Kanye West) has teamed up with the Fresno restaurant Take 3 Burgers to transform it, for one day only, into Powamekka Café.
Zimbabwean actress-playwright Danai Gurira makes an appearance in the new trailer of upcoming Tupac biopic All Eyez on Me, portraying the late Afeni Shakur-Tupac Shakur’s mother, former Black Panther and protector of Tupac’s legacy and estate.
Some of Powamekka Cafe’s items include the Mac-and-Cheeseburger, Hennessey Apple Butter chicken wings, a California Love Chicken Sandwich, and even Thug Passion cake pops, consisting of champagne cakes with Alize buttercream frosting.
A host of local musicians will also perform a series of Tupac songs later tonight.
A Tupac biopic, called All Eyez on Me, is also set to hit cinemas from November. There are a few theories to those questions as well, but to this day no one has ever been charged with the murder.
