Destiny Not Getting PS4 Pro Patch Right Away, If Ever
While we know what games will be having support at launch, one that we can officially cross out is Destiny. Destiny: Rise of iron is available on September 20, and includes a new cinematic story campaign, a new location “The Plaguelands” to explore, a brand new social space “Felwinter Peak”, a new six-player Raid, new and remastered three-player co-operative Strikes, and even more ways to customize your Guardian with all-new weapons and gear.
Developer Bungie and publisher Activision have released the cinematic launch trailer for Destiny: Rise of Iron, the fourth and final expansion pack for Bungie’s sci-fi shooter game for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles.
The Private Match competition is where the availability of the current Private Match options were first announced. Bungie outlined some time ago that they were done supporting the Xbox 360 and PS3 due to the decade old hardware holding back their vision for the game. Speaking with AOTF, Bungie’s Executive Producer Scott Taylor said that the studio now has no plans to provide any support for PS4 Pro.
Answer: “No, not for Rise of Iron”. The long awaited mode is now available for both Xbox One and PS4 consoles as of yesterday.
