Flour furor: BBC loses rights to ‘Great British Bake Off’
Channel 4 boss Jay Hunt has promised The Great British Bake Off viewers that the show will remain “just as it is”.
Kate kicked off her batter week by creating Christmas dinner Yorkshire puddings, filled with turkey and cranberry sauce.
At the end of it all Benjamina finished on a high as she won star baker.
But it was the Yorkshire puddings that were being judged and last week’s star baker Tom Gillford found himself in trouble after his failed to rise to the occasion.
“There’s masses of room to put all of that pork filling in”.
“The only problem is, we’ve got a little chap here and a whopping one here!”
Candice: “Oh, I’m a tosser all the way, Mel”.
Kate came in seventh place in the Technical challenge, her lace heart-shaped pancakes failing to impress.
“One lovely flick of the wrist and over it comes”.
Paul said her attempt at bunnies looked “a bit sad” and “flat, like they’ve been run over”, before stating that he was unable to eat them.
So it was without surprise that This Morning hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby took a bit of a Twitter beating after the official This Morning account teased that they might be the show’s new presenters.
A worthy mention also goes out to Sue, though, for her “chur-Ross Kemp” joke at the start of the Showstopper churros challenge.
