South Park: The Fractured But Whole delayed into 2017
Indeed, news of developers and publishers reshuffling release dates is often viewed as bittersweet; on the one hand, you have those disappointed that their wait for “game X” has been extended.
South Park: The Fractured But Whole has been delayed from December 2016 into Q1 2017, Ubisoft today announced on its blog.
Development team needs more time to meet expectations.
With a rather short post on its official website, Ubisoft confirmed that South Park: The Fractured But Whole won’t release on December 6th as originally announced but sometime during the first quarter of 2017.
In “South Park: The Stick of Truth”, you also controlled a so-called “new kid” to South Park who went on “Final Fantasy-esque” quests with “South Park” staple characters like Kyle and Kenny.
As of right now, there is no exact release date given for South Park: The Fractured But Whole. An all-new combat system offers unique opportunities to master space and time while on the battlefield, and a revamped looting and crafting system gives players the freedom to craft their own equipment to aid them in battle.
So keep an eye out for superhero plotlines in upcoming episodes of South Park Season 20, as it could presage the superhero civil war that breaks out early in South Park: The Fractured But Whole.
