All Five Expansion Packs Available for Free on Xbox
Electronic Arts and DICE are extremely delighted at the moment because of the huge success Battlefield 1 open beta witnessed last week. Of course, widespread beta participation may not necessarily translate into higher sales, but you can bet that EA and DICE are feeling pretty good about Battlefield 1’s chances today. The game has gone on sale at deep discounts multiple times, and a few DLC packs for Battlefield 4 and Hardline have been made available for free at one time or another.
This promotion comes just ahead of the release of the new Battlefield 1 game which is now doing well in beta testing with over 13 million players involved.
Those picking up Battlefield 1 next month will be handed a freebie not too long after purchase. Not the first instalment in the series as its titled may suggest, it is named presumably because of its well-known historical setting: World War 1.
Assault troops led the way with 30 percent of players choosing the class, while Scouts came in a close second at 28 percent.
Are you excited for Battlefield 1?
EA had earlier launched the “Road to Battlefield” promotion for the upcoming “Battlefield 1”.
There are new free downloadable contents for the game “Battlefield 4” that are available for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. There will also be an open beta of the game at an undisclosed date.
EA teases that the game will include battles fought on land, sea, and air. Players who pre order the deluxe version of the game will be able to play four days early on October 17, as well as receive a number of exclusive unlocks.
