South Africa’s Kwaito Legend Mandoza Dies
A family spokesperson has reportedly confirmed to EWN that Mandoza has passed on.

The artist was diagnosed with a cancerous tumour and has been undergoing treatment since a year ago.
Mduduzi “Mandoza” Tshabalala passed has passed away. This year it was reported that the cancer had spread to his brain, resulting in him losing his sight.
“Doctors and medical staff are trying whatever they can, and we are not giving up hope for his recovery”. Despite his ailing condition a determined Mandoza performed for fans at the recent Thank You SABC concert last weekend.
The heart-breaking news of one of Kwaito’s legendary stars – Mandoza’s passing has sent shock-waves throughout the country.
“It is a great loss to the nation and we wish to extend our deepest condolences to his wife Mpho, his family and hordes of fans”.
President Jacob Zuma issued a statement on Sunday afternoon. Mandoza will be sorely missed. “May his soul rest in peace”, Zuma added.
