Pilot, skydivers survive fiery crash in Phoenix suburb
A Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) spokesperson says the Cessna 182 plane crashed in the Arizona neighbourhood during parachute operations.
Two people inside the Gilbert home were able to get out unhurt after the plane crashed toward the back of the house.
A pilot, four skydivers and the two occupants of the home have all survived after a small plane on Sunday crashed onto a house in Phoenix in the U.S. state of Arizona.
Small plane was carrying skydivers for the annual Constitution Fair.
The pilot suffered minor burns and was being treated at a local hospital.
Gilbert Fire Department spokesman Gary Hildebrandt says National Transportation Safety Board personnel are at the crash site Sunday and that firefighters are assisting in the investigation.
A husband and wife inside the home escaped injury.
Footage also showed the Gilbert couple’s house on fire, as well as major damage left in the crash’s wake.
