“We need to get this guy in right away”, Mr de Blasio said on CNN. “It is certainly leaning more in the direction that this was a specific act of terror”.
The official said two officers were shot in the encounter in Linden, New Jersey.
Cuomo said earlier on Sunday that there was “no reason to believe at this time that there is any further, immediate threat” after the events on Saturday.
