Some rain lingers, but sunshine possible Monday in Albany area
Breaks of sunshine are possible in the afternoon, especially from the Mohawk Valley north and west.
Heavy rain this morning could disrupt the ride to work and school, along with gusty winds and local street flooding.
Daily highs are in the upper 70s with a south wind of 6 to 8 miles per hour.
“Radar estimated rainfall rates per hour of up to 2 inches have been observed over southern portions of Rhode Island and MA”, the advisory states. Partly cloudy, with a low around 70.
High tide on Charleston Harbor will be around 10 p.m. and peak around 6.9 and 7.1 feet. Mostly sunny, with a high near 90. Calm wind becoming east southeast around 5 miles per hour in the afternoon. Mostly cloudy skies are expected as temperatures fall to a low of about 47.
Sunny skies are predicted for Wednesday, with a high near 81. Northeast wind around 5 miles per hour.
The humid conditions are expected to last into Tuesday night when a drier air mass arrives that will last into Friday, forecasters wrote.
Wednesday is forecast to reach about 82 under mostly sunny skies.
Low temperatures Sunday night should dip to the low 70s and upper 60s.
Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 93. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent.
Weekend temperatures will rise there, also: highs near 69 Friday, 77 Saturday and 80 Sunday. High near 76. Low around 55.
