Trump campaign releases results from candidate’s physical
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump shared the results of a physical examination during an hour-long interview on The Doctor Oz Show taped Wednesday, revealing he is overweight and takes a statin to lower cholesterol.
The letter from Bornstein they discussed and that was released publicly on Thursday was, stylistically, a radical departure from the letter Trump’s doc wrote in December, which stated in that Trump was in “astonishingly excellent” health.
Mr. Trump had a physical exam on September 9 administered by Dr. Bornstein, who wrote a letter a year ago saying Mr. Trump would be the healthiest individual ever elected to the White House.
“The Dr. Oz Show” airs at 2 p.m. on WFXT-TV.
Trump’s appearance on Oz’s show, came shortly after Dr. Lisa Bardack published a medical letter, in which she explained Hillary Clinton’s state of health.
“I would say I see a person who’s 35 years old”, Trump replied, later adding that he feels “as good today as [he] did at 30”.
The physical was conducted by Dr. Harold N. Bornstein, the same doctor who previously said Trump would if elected be the healthiest president in history.
Oz said that Trump’s doctor found him to be overweight.
Clinton’s aides say she’ll return to the campaign trail on Thursday.
Dr. Oz told 70-year-old Trump, “You’re 6’3”, 236 lbs.as I mentioned.
Trump has repeatedly questioned Clinton’s health and stamina, but he has not referred to her health since Sunday’s news that she had been diagnosed with pneumonia.
The spectacle reached a fever pitch Wednesday afternoon as news outlets scrambled to interview members of the “Dr. Oz” audience about what went down during Trump’s appearance.
If Trump, 70, wins the November 8 election, he would be the oldest person to be elected USA president.
The letter says that Clinton has been evaluated by Bardack several times since she almost collapsed after becoming overheated, dehydrated and dizzy during a 9/11 memorial event at ground zero on Sunday. While speaking to Dr. Oz, Donald said the US president can’t ‘do the work if you’re not healthy.’ After Hill’s pneumonia scare, did Donald just drag her?
Meanwhile, she’s said she’ll release more medical records.
CNN said the interview with Oz will include discussions about Trump’s physical activity, dietary habits, and broader health-related issues.
“I’m doing great, thank you so much”.
