Rapper Shawty Lo killed in fiery crash
The rapper was ejected from his vehicle when he hit two trees after leaving a strip club in Atlanta early on Wednesday morning, his brother announced.
The rapper – real name Carlos Walker – died early on Wednesday morning in a auto crash in Fulton County, Georgia, according to Rolling Stone.
First responders reported that Walker was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
A message posted on Shawty Lo’s Twitter account, apparently written by the rapper’s manager and brother, noted the death.

The rapper formed the hip hop group D4L with fellow Atlanta rappers Fabo, Mook-B and Stoney.
Police say two cars were involved in the crash and one of the cars went over the guardrail and caught fire, CBS46 reports.
The star founded group D4l, known for hit Laffy Taffy. Two female passengers were hospitalized and treated for non life-threatening injuries, according to local news station WSB-TV. He was inked to major label Warner Bros., and earlier, formed an unsuccessful joint venture with 50 Cent to build G Unit South. In 2013, Lo made headlines when a controversial Oxygen documentary about his 11 children and their 10 mothers-called All My Babies’ Mamas-was scrapped, in part due to online protest.
