Pippa Middeton ‘targeted’ by hackers who steal thousands of images of Royals
The Royal Family are at the centre of a hacking scandal after a man stole 3,000 of Pippa Middleton’s private images.
Hackers have stolen around 3,000 of Pippa Middleton’s private photographs from her iCloud account, according to the London Sun.
Also included are candid snaps of Prince William, the Duchess of Cambridge and their two children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, as well as Middleton at a wedding dress fitting.
The seller reportedly wanted to sell in the U.S. because of United Kingdom privacy laws.
Thursday night saw a source close to the Duchess’s sister confirm that the pictures are indeed, genuine. A spokesman said: “Miss Middleton’s lawyers have been informed and, in due course, the police will too”.
The seller offered to converse with journalists through the encrypted messenger service Whatsapp.
An attack against other high profile figures, such as actress Jennifer Lawrence and model Kate Upton, also took place in 2014. Stolen images were subsequently posted online.
It is not yet known who is behind the hack. The hackers had control of the star’s account for about two hours and shared an image assuring his fans they would eventually return the his account to him.
